Shull and Vining Claim 2024 Berkley Team Series District 3 Championship!
The final day of the District 3 Championship hosted by Santee Cooper Country blast off to relatively calm winds and bluebird skies. The mostly SC anglers were determined to give it their best shot to qualify for the Fishers of Men National Championship which be held on Lake Murray SC the first week of April
Our Day 1 leaders Darrell Shull and Jimmy Vining brought another 19.26 lb bag to the scales to give them a 2 day total of 38.49 lbs to capture the win and over $4200 in winnings
Finsihing Runner-ups was the team of Brian Scott and Bennett Lawsh whose 15.12 lb bag gave them a 2 day total of 31.47
in 3rd Place was the team of Nelson Walker and Darryl Starkey who added 11.43 lbs to their 19 lb bag from day 1 giving them a 2 day total of 30.47 lbs
Finishing 4th was the SC Upstate team of BJ Ballard and Chastan Hanna who added 11.26 lbs to their day 1 19 lb bag to give them 30.43 lbs
Rounding out the top 5 was the team of Bobby Gibbs and Don Pendarvis who brought 15.32 lbs to the scales giveing them 28.99 lbs.
Tanner Lindler and Joeseph Frierson claimed the Top Adult/Junior National Championship berth with 20.83 lbs
While Michael Baden and Wanda Beden claimed the Highest finishing Male/Female slot
Marty Nester and Don Smith claimed the Basscat/Mercury slot to the Natty.
