Our Clark Hill tournament meeting was held Friday night, February 23rd, at First Baptist Church Abbeville.  We truly appreciate their Men's Ministry and Tripp Speers and his family making us feel at home, as always.  The meal was yummy and satisfying: Loaded potatoes and a variety of cakes and ice cream for dessert.  We are grateful for all the work that went into preparing the space and meal for our anglers and their families.

Special thanks to Chris Wells for an AWESOME message on Friday night.  After some goodhearted Wells humor, he shared some amazing and memorable experiences when he felt that God had really showed up and showed out.  That's the first time I ever heard Jesus' challenge from the Pharisees in John 9 compared to the famous Star Trek "no-win scenario" test: the Kobayashi Maru.  His "no-win" challenge was WON when He stated "let he who has no sin cast the first stone."  Jesus gave it all for us, and is calling us to REPENT.  We NEED him!!  There were 4 that made a first time decision, and 3 who desired to renew their relationship with Christ.

57 teams competed with SC Upstate Team Series on Clark Hill Saturday, Feb. 24th.  The day began with a chill, but it warmed up nicely when the sun appeared close to 10am.  Most fishermen reported a FUN day of fishing, with many fish caught and culled.

Congratulations to Jason Burroughs and Darren Ashley on their 18.78 lb bag that earned them a total of $3,480!

Big Fish went to the 3rd place team:  Brian Jones and Shane Abbott-  6.30 lbs
