Lake Spavinaw. May 22nd results
The lake proved to be a good one! Bob Hope and Chuck Smith barely edging out Gilmark Labitad and Yao Xiong for their second win in a row and also weighed the big bass, barely, over Gilmark and Yao. They had 5 fish weighing 18.51 pounds and the big bass at 4.47 pounds. Gilmark and Yao weighed in 18.23 pounds. Their biggest weighed 4.12 pounds.
Bob and Chuck caught their fish dragging jigs in the main lake. Gilmark and Yao hooked theirs flipping unnamed baits along the shoreline in shallow water.
Our next event will be on Hudson Lake June 12th. We will be going out of the Mud Flats ramp which is just south of Salina on route 82. Details for it are posted.
As a side note, so everyone can plan accordingly, I will hold a Friday night meeting at our last event at Fort Gibson. The meeting will be on July 16th. Hopefully, each team can have at least one member present. At this time I plan on holding the meeting at the pavilion by the farthest boat ramp. Chef Charleigh will be preparing a sumptuous feast with the entree being smoked meat that will be accompanied by a side of potatoes baked to perfection. You won't want to miss it!
