After a brutal cold start the sun rose over the North Georgia mountains, not only giving some warmth to the anglers, but also a beatiful day and highlighting some of the most beautiful seneries you will ever view on a lake. 30 teams braved the cold for a shot at the $1700.00 first place prize, those honors went to Robert Brannon and Shane Brannon with a 15.45 lbs. bag. Terry Sullens and Raymond McIntyre came oh so close winning $775 for their 2nd place catch of 15.16 lbs. 3rd place and winnings of $550 were Drew Baskins and Jody Hughes with 14.61 lbs. Our Big Bass Honors resulted in a tie between the teams of Ray/Smith and King/Stevens, Dustin Ray being the director decided to give full honors to Ty King and and Tony Stevens with their 4.11 spotted bass. 4th Morrow/Moon, 5th Postel/Phillips and 6th Riddle/Riddle took the remaining paychecks for their finishes. Congradulations to all these teams and thank you to everyone for braving the weather to make this tournament a success! We look forward to our next tournament at Lake Russell in March
