With regulations lifted this week in NY, 9 teams gathered at Oneida shores to kick off the 2021 season. Friday night 12 of us gathered for an informal meeting where food was provided, a devotional with discussion, a quick meeting and prayer. On Saturday the weather report was shakey, but by the grace of God the storm passed by to our south and it was a great day.  While most found fish and got 5 to the scales it was a rough go of it to find size. Three teams did accomplish that goal as new comers Ryan Hujar and Matt Arndt rounded up 19.67lbs of smallmouth to take 1st place. Veteren FOM anglers Tony Bush and Dan Laskowski captured a 4.54lb smallie included in the 18.08lb 2nd place bag. Returning after a long absence Dave Provos and Joe Moot logged in 15.00lbs for 3rd.
