On Friday night 14 of us gathered on the shores of Onondaga Lake at the beautiful Willow Bay Park. We have been holding unofficial gatherings this year in an attempt to move back to our normal official Friday night meetings next year. Attendance was very good as 8 of 10 teams were represented. Julie Raner provided a meal of Pulled Pork and a family favorite Veggie pizza as John Schneider offered the Blessing. Jeff Raner delivered a message on Love and Jesus's directive to Peter that he is to tend His Sheep. We as disciples are also called to tend His Sheep or in other words take care of each other in the family of Christ. A collection was taken for the FOMNTT Benevolence Fund. After the tournament meeting door prizes where drawn and we ended the meeting in Prayer.

Saturday morning 10 teams came together at safe light. After a prayer we blasted off to what turned out to be perfect day that God had created for us. All indications pointed to a very tough day of fishing as the lake has been fishing very tough. Gratefully, our anglers were able to bring to the scales eight, 5 fish limits and some impressive bags. 1st place went to 1st time FOM anglers Aaron Stone and Thomas DeMarco Jr with a record setting performances, bringing in 24.87lbs of bass. Including a mix of Largemouth and Small mouth bass. Topping the previous record of 23.29lbs turned in by Jeff and Julie Raner three yrs ago. Big bass also went to Aaron and Thomas breaking another record with a 7.28lb giant largemouth, the previous record held by Terry and Audry Reed's 6.56 smallmouth also from 3 yrs ago. 2nd place went to our Points leaders Ryan Hugar and Matt Arndt with 21.04lbs. 3rd place continued to impress as Ryan Friscia and Megan came in with a 20.00lb bag as our top Male female team. 4th place would have won most recent tournaments on Onondaga as Dennis Deeley and Randy Yarnell reeled 17.90lbs.
