Baldus and Borden Capture Wildcard qualifier!
Proving consistency pays the team of Chris Baldus and Chet Borden backed up their Day 1 Twenty one lb limit with another 21.48 lbs for a 2 day total of 42.61 to lay claim to Champions of the Berkley Classic Series Wildcard Presented by Realtree Fishing. The team reported fishing for smallmouth below the dam early before switching gears, moving down the lake to punch the grass for Largemouths.
With the biggest bag of the tournament on Day 2 at 23.60 the father son team of jack Napier Jr and Ross Napier tallied up a 2 day total of 36.50 lbs to finsih as runner-ups
Finishing 3rd was another father/son team Lavon and Zachery White whose 2 day total was 20.74 lbs
Rounding out the money position in 4th place was Mickey McCleary and Butch Brooks who rode their 16+ lb day 1 bag to a total of 18.16
