Blast off 6:45AM 66 degrees Weigh in 3PM 83 degrees

Calm overcast skies with a light fog filled the air as we played the National Anthem, thanked Almighty God for the glorious day and then we blasted off. 21 Teams took to the St Johns River in search of a 5 fish limit. 7 Teams returned with that limit while the remainder of the field came up a few short and stated that the bite was tough. FWC Biologist joined our weigh in to conduct data research about tournament bass and will conduct their study over the next week. In the end four teams reigned supreme! 1st Place, Big Bass, and 1st Place Bonus Bucks went to the Team of Thomas Boney and Tyler Deruiter with a great bag weighing 25.98 lbs with the Big Bass of the tournament weighing in at 7.59 lbs. 2nd Place went to the Team of Billy Taylor and WIlliam McDevitt with another great bag weighing in at 21.10 lbs. They also won 2nd Place Bonus Bucks. 3rd Place went to the Team of Kevin Bass and Rusty Fox with a total weight of 13.84 holding off 4th Place by a mere .61 ounces. 4th Place went to the Adult/Jr Team of Kenny Hunnicut and Jack Myers with a nice bag weighing 13.23 lbs. FWC complimented the team for having one of the best laid out tournaments they had seen recently and also commended the Team for a job well done! God moved at our friday night meeting where Pastor Willie McKinnon delivered a great message and the Trinity Baptist Church Mens Ministry provided our meal for our 42 Anglers and their families! Thank you all so very much for your participation, prayers, and support. Without God, you the anglers, our team, and our Ministry Partners, none of this could have happened. God is so good!
